> ROLE OVERVIEW
As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data streaming infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to ensure that our data is accurate, timely, and easily accessible. Our mission is to empower our customers with real-time insights and drive business growth through data-driven decision making.
> CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement scalable data streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and other related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop data streaming solutions
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
> HARD REQUIREMENTS & SPECS
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data streaming and real-time data processing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala, with experience in data streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka and Apache Flink
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data processing, and data storage technologies
