Sr. QA Engineer
> ROLE OVERVIEW
We're hiring a Senior QA Engineer to own testing across our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This is a strategy-and-automation role, not a click-testing one: you'll own the test strategy, write the test cases, and automate them on top of established open-source testing tools — working shoulder-to-shoulder with developers to bake quality in from the start rather than catch it at the end. This role partners closely with product and platform engineering.
> CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the test strategy end-to-end across the SDLC.
- Build and own test coverage on top of established open-source testing tools — defining the strategy, writing the test cases, and automating them — and integrate it into our Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines so tests run on every meaningful change.
- Plan and run the full range of testing — including but not limited to integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and stress / load / performance testing.
> HARD REQUIREMENTS & SPECS
- Strong test automation skills, with a track record of designing test strategy and automating it on top of established open-source testing tools.
- Deep, practical understanding of the SDLC and where testing fits at each stage.
- Proven experience writing test cases and test plans.
