People Operations Manager
> ROLE OVERVIEW
Tremendous is hiring a People Operations Manager to own people operations end to end, run our immigration program, and be the company's HR point of contact. The team is ~175 people across the US, Canada, the UK, Brazil, and elsewhere, and we're launching our first dedicated people function. You'll be the person anyone at the company can go to when something is wrong, and you'll run our immigration program in conjunction with outside counsel. We're a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life.
> CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own our HRIS and associated systems
- Administer benefits for US, Canadian, and international employees
- Own the employee handbook, HR wiki, and people policies
- Own onboarding end to end: cohort logistics, new hire paperwork, and the first-90-days experience
- Be the company's HR point of contact
- Run our biannual HR cycle — performance check-ins, compensation review, and the employee engagement survey
- Handle off-cycle compensation changes, promotions, relocations, and international moves
- Own our immigration program: manage active O-1, L-1A, H-1B, and PERM matters end to end
> HARD REQUIREMENTS & SPECS
- 5+ years in people operations, HR, or a people partner role, including time at a company without a large HR team
- Experience in running an immigration program
- Ability to write clearly and hold confidences absolutely
